For the second year running Kicker and Tex took on the 9 hour round trip from Liverpool to Cardigan, the spiritual home of Fruits de Mer Records, and joined the revellers at The 13th Dream of Dr Sardonicus Festival – a 3 day celebration of all things psychedelic and vinyl.
Have a listen here as Kicker tells fellow wizard, Chorizo Garbanzo all about it and plays some tracks from the likes of Soft Hearted Scientists, Bevis Frond and The Luck of Eden Hall, to name exactly three.

And since you asked, this is the rest of my magnificent haul:
Hi guys! Gavin from Spurious Transients here (guitar, bass). A shame you missed our set on Friday. We thought it went rather well, and we all certainly enjoyed playing it. I also played bass with Steve Kelly on Saturday morning, and no, he’s not my Dad.
He’d be a cool dad though, right?
He’s certainly got a vast encyclopaedic knowledge of music, that’s for sure. Steve and I will next be playing the Trades Hall, Dagenham, Essex, on 12 September supporting Son Of Man and Deke Leonard.
Sooooo… you were the guys who very cunningly took pizzas into the Pizza Tipi venue? (I agree with you about the spelling – it bugs me too). There were so many people turning up on the gate on Sunday after pizza, it’s such a shame the venue weren’t doing any that day, they’d have done a lot of trade.
Thanks for that, Gavin. In fact, truth be told, we were eating a range of alternative fast food to the sound of Sendelica Acoustica et al, but your point still stands.
