Is it that both videos feature images of or related to Mexico? Other than that, I don’t have a clue.
It’s to do with the musicians on both tracks.
Is the link something to do with Youth / Killing Joke? Youth was in Killing Joke and collaborated with The Orb a lot. I think Eno had some link with Killing Joke as well, did he produce them or something?
No. The same artist plays on both songs.
Fred Frith? Sadly, now that I’m old I can’t remember who else played on Baby’s on Fire.
Ugh, I meant Robert Fripp. My brain is leaking!
Nicely done, Vamp. Yes, of course, Robert Fripp famously plays that 2 minute solo on Baby’s On Fire and perhaps less famously also appears noodling on that Orb song. I am pretty sure Fred Frith appears on neither song.
